T’MARO EAU DE VIE is the first and only of its kind. It’s an ultra-premium, remarkably smooth Eau de Vie made with only organic dates from the Coachella Valley without any added sugar or artificial flavors or colors. We ferment the organic dates in small batches followed by distillation in a copper pot still. Each of the labels have been applied by hand using paper made from upcycled palm fronds.

Suggestive vanilla, subtle caramel and crisp pear with a very smooth finish.

Chef Elizabeth Falkner and beverage-alcohol industry veteran Heather Freyer were inspired by the history, complexities and mysticism of Amaro. They decided to make their Amaro using all-natural ingredients without added sugar, colors or flavors. During the innovation process they decided to use dates as the natural sweetener, a product Chef Elizabeth frequently loves to use in her cooking. While learning more about dates and the resilience of the date tree, they discovered a way to make date spirit which is also in the base of their Amaro.


Neat, or in a cocktail. This spirit plays well with others. Like the adventurous spirit of CA cuisine pioneers, express yourself by mixing it into your favorite tequila, rum, vodka recipes.

1 oz T’MARO Eau de Vie
1 oz quality blanco tequila
3/4 oz lime juice
1/3 oz T’MARO Amaro
Barspoon of T’MARO Date Syrup or Triple Sec

Add all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and serve up or on the rock with a sprig of rosemary or lime wheel.


2 oz T’MARO Eau de Vie
1/2 oz Orange Liqueur
1/4 oz T’MARO Amaro
3/4 oz lemon juice

Pour all ingredients into cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into coupe glass. Serve up with a date sugar rim.
